Bows,Ruffles,Roses, and Frills

Some of my favorite things:

BOWS RUFFLES ROSES AND FRILLS-I absolutely love anything that is girlie. It takes me back to being a kid playing dress up and making my little brother play house and do whatever I said. Lucky for me flirty ruffles and BIG bows are all the rave right now. I can't have to many bows on everything I own like headbands, skirts, shirts, dresses, and my coat. These are some helpful hints for incorporating these in your wardrobe.

Headbands: We can start off with my favorite way to sport the BIG bow! I have countless sizes and colors of bowed headbands. To me they make any outfit a little cutesy. If you aren't too sure about it yet try a smaller bow, but as for me the bigger the better.
This black headband is from Urban Outfitters for only $16.00 The pink and cream colored ones are smaller and cheaper at forever21.com $2.50 The rhinestone double row headband is from shopbop.com $84.00

The bouquet clip and the tortoise shell bow barrette are both from Anthropologie.com. Both accessories are small but can add just what you need to your hair to complete an outfit (and clip back your hair at the same time) $18.00 and 38.00

Jewelry--Used as a statement piece or just an added frill it's always classy. This beautiful necklace is from JCrew.com $295.00. This Betsey Johnson pink rose ring can add something extra to an all black or neutral outfit from BetseyJohnson.com $45.00

These cute little
gold bow earrings are from Tiffany and Co. $300.00 (what a great Valentine's Day gift boys)You can't beat $1.50 for three pair of earrings!!! Forever21 always treats me
good on deals like this and these shabby chic colors go with most of my wardrobe.

This leather bow cuff can be casual or dressed up from glamsquadshop.com for $14.99.
Funky feathers and gems are girlie too!! Forever21.com $4.80 you cant pass this glamourous deal by.

Handbags--Can be the key piece in your closet! I always like to have low key handbags and purses so the focus can be on my outfit. I like basic colors with a little twist in the design. It never hurts to go outside your box a little though. Non expectant colors and patterns can always add to a boring dress that doesn't feel new anymore. These girly handbags, purses, and clutches are just a few that can spice it up or keep it simple.

Jessica Simpson knows how to keep it classy with this all black handbag with the perfect sized bow on the front. $88.00 (wherever Jessica Simpson is sold-Belk)

This grosgrain nude chain and bow over the shoulder long strap purse has a subtle bow for the not so bowish people out there. I found this one on topshop.com $55.00. I really like the fact that it is nude so it can go with any outfit without trying.

Free People makes this Rosemallow Weekender bag that is great for the weekend but I might would carry it as my handbag. It has a butterfly like combo of brown and pink with leather handles and adjustable shoulder strap. Look for it on freepeople.com $428.00.

The Army green vintage Chanel bag is a hard find but you cant let something like this go when you see it! This quilted lambskin shoulder bag has the cutest tassel that gives it jus
t enough frill to go with the edgy color. I
found it on riceandbeansvintage.com $800.00.

Wristlets are the best if you don't want to carry around a huge bag. This pewter one is perfect for any outfit plus it has the huge stones for fun. $25.00 on latrunkshows.com

Shoes--One item that matters most to women are their shoes. So who will answer the age old question of most men "Why do you need so many pairs of shoes?" If you are a talented shopper then, like most, you have an over abundance of shoes in your closet. After all you could never wear the same shoes everyday! These are a few that stand out to me with their frills and rosies and are basically calling out my name.

The Colin Stuart floral mesh booties that lace up the back of the heel are a pair I would put with a simple dress or skirt because they draw so much attention with their details. I found them at Victoriassecret.com $128.00.
The dainty ballet inspired pumps can be worn with almost anything. The blush color is so appropriate for this winter and I cant get enough of the point shoe look. BCBGMAXAZRIA.com $195.00.

Of course the ultimate shoe designer always turning heads, Christian Louboutin, has a frilly ruffled shoe. No one would be able to let you walk by without noticing these red (top and bottom) flashy shoes. Found at Barney's New York.

Steve Madden doesn't disappoint me with these floral oxford lace
ups. Great for the start of spring or paired with skinny jeans and a cardigan found at stevemadden.com $39.00

Sometimes you have to go for the comfy shoes but still dress to impress and that's just what this little flat will let you do. The big jewel on top makes it dressy for work or play. ninewest.com $79.00.

If Paris knows anything it's her bow. These croc style leather peep toe pumps have just the right sized bow on the side. Paris Hilton heels.com $94.99. These wonderful wedges are low to the ground and great for a long day at work. They have a rose pattern with jeweled details on the front and the back of the heel. Poetic License from Zappo's.com $98.95.

Off the rack--From rosettes to ruffles its all about the frilly look! Even the most simple clothing can be ten times better with a girlie touch. A layered ruffled look can look great on most body shapes but be careful, you don't want ruffles in the wrong places. This pink ruffle dress from BCBGMAXAZRIA found at Saksfifthavenue.com $238.00. It shows the ruffles in just the right places having a smooth back and sides to show off the body shape and not camouflage it. The denim bow front shirt is from BillyRied.com $147.00 It is fitted in the waist and the denim fabric gives it a more masculine look but the bow tops it off with a feminine touch.

I am the #1 fan of the romper!! I love love love them all patterns and syles. This free people strapless floral romper is defiantly on my spring wish list. Its so 70's and perfect for an outdoor party. Its $128.00 and found on freepeople.com. Judith March is one of my favorite designers and her style is the definition of girlie. She incorporates flowers, bows, ruffles, and and the cutest patterns in her clothing. This Judith March one shoulder dress with the flower embellishment is around $98.00 and found at genealogy.com but you can find Judith dresses at your local boutiques.

This romantic lace dress is beautiful and in my lulu's shopping cart. Its retro bohemian feel is perfect paired with some nude pumps or white block heels for this spring. For only $38.00 on lulus.com. The baby pink ruffle top with grey bow belt Lauren is wearing is from her collection at Kohl's. You could wear this like Lauren with a cardigan or blazer for now and on its own for warmer weather. Its only $40.00 and found at Kohls.com.

LOVE the bows on this Banana Republic coat. They are know for their simple designs with little details. I found it on thisnext.com for only $50.00 cannot pass this one up because this coat is no longer available on bananarepublic.com.

This Morning Mists top from Anthropologie.com is $88.00. This would be great with jeans and flats for a low key weekend. The shimmery rosettes gathered at the front are so pretty paired with the neutral colors.
