Best Dressed Oscars 2011

Red Carpet Season:

The Red Carpet dresses are always as important as the awards! This years Oscar gowns were phenomenal. Here is my best dresses list for the Oscars!!

Mila Kunas wore a beautiful and my FAV lavender/nude Elie Saab dress (even though it already been worn by Hallie in another color a couple weeks before)! The color looks so good on her while the lingere style lace is not something everyone can pull off.

Cate Blanchett wore a lavender and lime stone with framed bodice by Givenchy Couture. The details on the chiffon fabric are amazing on this dress which is what makes it so pretty. To some fashion critics this was a total miss, but as for me I would defiantly wear it.

Hilary Swank wore a Gucci Premiere Couture gown. I love anything with feathers!! If this dress was another color it would for sure be my favorite. The ostrich feathers were perfect for the red carpet and looked great on Hilary as a presenter.

Scarlett Johansson wore a Dolce&Gabbana dress that featured touches of lace and an open back. The peekaboo lace at the top makes the dress even more elegant along with its deep red color. Red being a hot choice for this years Oscar red carpet.

Gwyenth Paltrow wore a champagne Calvin Klein shimmer dress. Sleek and sophisticated for the Country Strong star who has made quite the name for herself in the past couple of months.

Breath taking. Halle Barry chose a nude Marchesa crystal encrusted gown with a ruffle tulle train. She also wore Neil Lane jewels to complete her look. She took the red carpet by storm and left everyone stunned as usual. This style goddess knows her fashion!

Melissa Leo wore a Marc Bouwer lazer cut lace gown. Ok give a take on this gown..I really like the gold showing through the white. Minus the collar, heaviness, and the short sleeves. If you basically change everything about it..could have been a success? It still makes best dressed list for me!

Sandra Bullock does it again. She showed up wearing a Vera Wang bustier mermaid style gown in red. Red is defiantly her color and my favorite lady in red for the night. None of the other red gowns compare to this Vera Wang.

Maria Menounos might have slipped through on the red carpet but not on this list. She is wearing a black velvet Johanna Johnson one sleeve gown accented with hefty diamonds. This trendy style is great in velvet looks hot on the red carpet.

Celine Dion chose an Armani Prive gown that shows off her awesome bod. This dress was made for her and accompanied by a deep green jeweled necklace.

Camila Alves (handbag designer) wore a black Kaufman Franco gown. This gown is one of my favorites and may not have gotten al the credit it deserved. The plunging neckline is makes it just the right amount of sexy with the fullness of the skirt of the dress. Perfect hair and jewelry to complete the red carpet look, but Camila where is your handbag?

Anne Hathaway had some great hosting gowns but this one is my favorite. This Oscar De La Renta silver beaded tassel dress. She even showed off her tassels with a little shake during the presentation. This gown is fun and elegant at the same time especially with Jimmy Choo and Tiffany accessories.

Mandy Moore=GORGEOUS GOWN. This royal blue flower accented ball gown is beautiful. Im in LOVE. The color perfect. The style perfect. The hair perfect. The makeup perfect. It was all perfect for the song from the Disney movie "Tangled" which I cannot wait to get on DVD.

Best Dressed 2011 Grammys

Gotta love all the glamour and fashion of the red carpet. I would defiantly be okay opting out on the actual awards just to see what the stars are wearing from head to toe. Here are my best dressed for this years Grammys.

Kelly Osborn
Wearing a popular one shoulder in soft lavender, Tadashi party dress. The texture of the dress is great for Kelly's figure and the flirty color is great for hosting the red carpet.

Julianne Hough
Weaing a ruffled Malandrino gown, which she pairs with a Jimmy Choo clutch and Bochic jewels. This fresh look is young and patterned, great for Julianne.

HOT MOMMA! She is smoking hot in this sparkle, long-sleeved Emilio Pucci minidress with spiked Christian Louboutin peep-toes and Daniel Swarovski clutch.

Jennifer Hudson
Wearing a navy Versace gown, Neil Lane jewelry, and Christian Louboutin shoes. The high low look is very in fashion this season along with navy(the new black). This shape and color looks great on Jennifer's new bod.

Kim K
Gold rush!! Wearing a Kaufman Franco gown, Christian Louboutin(as always) pumps and Lorraine Schwartz jewels. Apparently she had a pre-grammy fashion emergency and had to call the designer in to re-do the "butt" of her dress. Looks like they got it fixed this dress(and Kim's butt) is out of this world.

Eva Longoria
Wearing a ruffled Ashi Studio minidress with an over the top dramatic collar, that she pairs with big drop earrings and satin Brian Atwood platform pumps. The classic contrast of black and white is so elegant but and sets you in the mood for the Grammys with a short twist.

Miley Cyrus
Can Miley be tamed wearing this sequined tiger-print, plunging gown by Roberto Cavalli and two armfuls of glittering bangles.I'm not a huge fan of animal prints these days, but for Miley I can make an exception. She looks better the second time I looked at her gown. Its growing on me should I say.

Heidi Klum
Always one of my favs. Heidi is wearing a high split sequined Julien Macdonald gown, accented with python-print Christian Louboutin platform pumps. She's forever looking stunning with her model figure.
(dont forget the matching gold pedicure)

Selena Gomez
A shimmering J. Mendel gown, worn with a metallic Judith Leiber clutch and Lorraine Schwartz colored diamonds.Maybe she's cheering on her secret bf Biebs for all his nominations?

She is my wildcard of the night. I am still undecided on her gown. I hate the fact that it has see through stripes but I love the delicate white ruffles. Tough call if her Jean Paul Gaultier haute couture mermaid gown is
classy or trashy.
